Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel has a large living room with a great view, but some maintenance issues like the non-working washbasin and noisy fans outside. It could benefit from a refurbishment but still offers a decent stay with some outdated elements. The convenient location near central London and West End is a plus.
The hotel's location is prime, just a stone's throw from Oxford Street with a lovely vibe. The rooms, although tired-looking with some minor issues like cracked tiles and worn chairs, came with a delightful surprise of champagne and cake. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful, but the parking discount was lower than expected. Dining was good with a variety of choices, though not ideal for early mornings. The hotel facilities were top-notch, contributing positively to the overall experience.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed for a short stay, but the noise from the major road junction outside was quite bothersome. The size of the rooms was larger than expected for a budget-friendly option.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were cleaner than the first one, although with some marks on the paintwork and an opened shampoo bottle in the shower. The standard double room was well-appointed but a bit small, and unfortunately, I couldn't get it warm. The bed was hard, and the duvet too thin. On the upside, the room was spacious with a wide range of amenities.
I spent two delightful nights at Radisson Blu Portman Square, where I was pleasantly surprised by the upgrade to a business class room upon arrival. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering an array of choices from salmon and haddock to various cereals and egg dishes. However, there was a slight delay in breakfast availability, which was a small inconvenience. The location is ideal for exploring London's landmarks and is situated close to Oxford Street, Selfridges, and Bond Street.
The hotel offers reasonably equipped and clean rooms, though the smoking odor in the corridor was overwhelming. It boasts one of the best breakfasts I've had recently. The staff, especially Mark, the guest relations manager, goes out of their way to be helpful and friendly.
